bread pudding doesn't have to be dessert. this is my version of savoury bread pudding. filled with tender beef, carrot and my secret ingredient which is egg plant.. i just love how egg plant gives a meaty taste to pies and puddings. well i suggest this as an appetizer! lay the pudding on a bed of shredded iceberg lettuce, some fresh purple onion and chopped dill gherkin on top. drizzle with ranch! there you go savoury bread pudding!
